After May 3, 2023, a Standard ID will no longer be acceptable as a form of federal identification and will no longer be accepted as a form of identification if you fly domestically within the United States or visit certain government facilities. It is possible that you will be able to submit all of the needed papers and complete your renewal online if you pick a Standard Massachusetts driver’s license or ID card.
