Welcome to the appointment page for the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Division. Updated on February 14, 2022 On select Saturdays, the Kona Vehicle Registration and Licensing office will accept appointments for Driver’s License Renewals. All expired (but still within the renewal term) or about to expire driver’s licenses in the state of Hawaii will be renewed by us during the following 30 days. If your driver’s license is about to expire and you are unable to plan an appointment before to the expiration date, we recommend that you schedule a Saturday appointment with the DMV.
