If PennDOT has your photo and signature on file, you can apply for a duplicate non-commercial license online if PennDOT has your photo and signature on file. When your application is complete, you will be able to print a temporary driver’s license that will be valid for 15 days while your duplicate driver’s license is being processed and shipped to your home address.

Mail-in Process:

Complete FormDL-80(PDF), “Non-Commercial Driver’s License Application to Change, Correct, or Replace,” and submit it to the DMV. Real ID

If you are employed at the time of your next regular renewal, you may be required to refund the Department for the $3.25 photo fee that was charged to you at the time of the renewal. The fee exemption does not apply to the following items:
