In order to demonstrate their ability to operate the car safely without using hand controls, the client must have their driver license restricted until they can demonstrate their ability to do so.

Customers who are physically incapable of operating a vehicle with standard, factory-installed equipment will have this limitation imposed on their licenses.

When a client can demonstrate their ability to operate a vehicle safely without the need of hand controls, this limitation is removed from their driver’s license.

  • This limitation is put on a license in accordance with the information on a DR2401 (medical form) or DR2402 (eye examination report)
